Why Support the Summit?

The Anne Lister Research Summit is a global gathering hosted by Packed with Potential, a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering accessible, collaborative research on Anne Lister and her contemporaries.

Since 2020, the Summit has brought together researchers, historians, and enthusiasts,from around the world, powered entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. Their time, talent, and passion are the heart of this effort, and we couldn't do it without them.

While the Summit is run on a shoestring budget, with a strong DIY spirit and cost-saving tools, it still takes around $1,000 a year to make it all happen. Your support helps us maintain a professional and engaging experience for everyone involved.

Here's how your donation helps:

$100.00 - Domains, cloud storage, and website hosting (Google & Squarespace)
$212.99 - Zoom subscription
$271.64 - MailChimp upgrade to accommodate the size of our mailing list
$135.91 - Canva account for program materials and promotional design
$300.00 - Thank you cards, small gifts, and shipping for speakers (up to $100 per event)
